Create and check your first mark

Have one confirmed date ready. Daymark calls each countdown a mark. Two active marks are free. You do not need a separate Daymark account.

  1. Open Daymark and use the add control to create a countdown.
  2. Enter Title and choose Target date.
  3. Under Optional timing and place, enable Include a target time only if the clock matters.
  4. Choose a layout in Design. Add a photo if you want one.
  5. Set a reminder in Reminders if you need time to prepare.
  6. Tap Save and compare the full event date with your source.

Make the first date useful

Try a trip you have booked or an upcoming birthday. Add one preparation task or reminder rather than filling every field immediately. Daymark includes two active countdowns free, so you can try a second kind of date before choosing Unlimited.

Check the saved date and time zone

Confirm the title, target date and time zone in the saved countdown. If the count surprises you, check date-only versus timed before changing the date. Then add a widget if you want to see it outside the app.

If Save does not complete

A title is required. Check any date validation message before trying again. If your two free active slots are already used, review those marks or the optional Unlimited offer. Do not change a real event's date to bypass the active limit.
