Keep your next important date visible
Choose the birthday, wedding, or trip you want to check most often. Keep that countdown on your Home Screen and open Daymark for the rest of your dates.
Fit the widget to the screen
Add Daymark through the Home Screen widget picker and choose an available size. Give a photo enough room to stay readable. A small widget saves space; a larger one gives the image and countdown more room.
Understand refresh behavior
iOS controls widget refresh timing. A widget is not a continuously running stopwatch. If it differs from the app, open Daymark, return to the Home Screen and compare again. All widget sizes are included with the two free active countdowns.
What you can expect from a countdown widget
Choose a widget because you want an important date visible between visits to the app. Add the date first, then choose the view that fits your screen.
| Your priority | A sensible choice |
|---|---|
| Save screen space | Use a compact widget with a short event title. |
| Keep a photo visible | Give a larger photo widget room to display the subject. |
| See one particular date | Choose that countdown in the available widget configuration. |
| Watch every second | Open a timed countdown. iOS manages widget refresh. |
Every widget size is included free
Two active countdowns are free with every widget size, photo layout, and reminder included. Unlimited adds more active countdowns. Daymark requires iOS 18 or later and no separate account.
