For the final stretch
Use a timed event when a specific moment matters. Confirm the time and event time zone before starting the final countdown. A flight's departure time should come from the current ticket, not an old itinerary screenshot.
Set up a timed event's Live Activity
Turn on Include a target time and Show this mark as a Live Activity in the event editor. Enable Allow Live Activities in Daymark Settings and check iPhone permission. Timed events qualify during their final 24 hours or while in progress.
Keep the original schedule
A Live Activity does not monitor flight changes, venue changes or delays for you. Update the countdown when the underlying plan changes. Check the app and the official provider before relying on the moment shown on screen.
Choose the right surface for the wait
Use a widget for a date months away. Use a Live Activity for an eligible timed departure or event. iOS controls the activity lifecycle, and Dynamic Island needs a supported iPhone. It does not read live airline or organizer schedule changes.
