Set the countdown date
A flight is a timed event. Enter the current departure date, clock time and departure-zone choice. Do not convert it twice if the ticket already shows local airport time. Overnight travel can cross calendar dates even when the elapsed journey is short.
Preparation checklist
Choose the tasks you need and add anything specific to your plans.
- Confirm the departure airport, terminal and current flight time.
- Check the airline's check-in instructions and baggage allowance.
- Plan airport arrival using the airline's current guidance.
- Save the booking link while keeping the reference out of public titles.
- Arrange transport to the correct terminal.
- Check the airline again if a delay or schedule change appears.
Check the airline's current schedule
Use the official airline information for operational decisions. Edit Daymark if the scheduled departure changes. A Live Activity can show the final 24 hours on supported iPhones, but it does not fetch flight updates or guarantee that a reminder will arrive.
Enter the departure without converting it twice
Open the countdown editor, expand Optional timing and place, and turn on Include a target time. Enter the ticket's local departure time. Choose the departure airport's Time zone. Add the Ticket or booking link and save. Compare the saved moment with the current airline booking.
Departure and airport arrival are different targets
For a flight leaving at 8.00 in the morning, zero means scheduled departure, not when to leave home. Keep transport, check-in and baggage preparation as separate tasks. A countdown does not read live airport operations or move itself when the airline delays the flight.
Create a flight countdown
Add your flight's departure time and airport time zone. Keep your booking link and airport preparation in the same countdown.
