Set the countdown date

Use the ceremony date confirmed by the institution. Add the start time if useful, but plan your own arrival from its registration instructions. Degree completion and the graduation ceremony may happen on different dates. Use the date that matches this countdown.

Preparation checklist

Choose the tasks you need and add anything specific to your plans.

  • Confirm the ceremony allocation and registration instructions.
  • Check how many guest tickets you have and how they are issued.
  • Arrange gown collection and return through the named provider.
  • Plan travel and parking for your required arrival time.
  • Agree where to meet guests before and after the ceremony.
  • Check any photo or reception bookings separately.

Review the ceremony instructions

Read the institution's latest instructions before the day. If your session changes, edit the countdown and tell your guests directly. A photo from the ceremony can become a past memory later, while the original achievement date can remain a separate milestone.

Count down to the ceremony you were allocated

Create a countdown for your ceremony, not the institution's whole graduation week. Add the assigned start time if confirmed. Use Add planning pack for guest tickets, gown collection and travel. Give registration or collection a separate task when it happens earlier.

Save the milestone after the ceremony

Replace the preparation photo with one you want to keep, if you choose. A completed one-time event can remain in Past. Do not move the date to next year merely to keep it visible. The ceremony date and degree completion date can be separate memories.

Count down to graduation

Add your ceremony date and choose a photo for the countdown. Keep the final arrangements ready before the celebration.
