Calendar days and exact times
A timed countdown counts toward a specific moment. A date-only countdown counts calendar days, so the numbers can differ near midnight. The hours and minutes calculators here use UTC.
Check the time and time zone
Check both the time and zone if the duration is unexpectedly long or short. For travel, keep a separate airport-arrival plan. A countdown to departure is not an instruction to leave home at that moment, and it does not monitor delays.
If the exact count differs from calendar days
The timed mark measures the wait until a moment. The date-only tool counts date transitions. They need not match near midnight or a daylight-saving change. Do not move a correct booking merely to match a whole-day number.
