Save the trip's beginning and end
Have both confirmed dates ready. Decide whether the trip needs exact moments or only calendar dates. The end must not precede the beginning.
- Open the trip's editor and set its departure date.
- Expand Optional timing and place.
- Turn on This event has an end date.
- Check the starting field, now labeled Begins, and enter Ends.
- Review Include a target time and Time zone when exact booking times matter.
- Tap Save and compare the full span with your travel bookings.
Dates and nights are different counts
Friday through Sunday covers three calendar dates but normally two nights. A timed Friday evening to Sunday morning trip is less than 48 hours. Choose the convention that matches your booking or preparation question before comparing numbers.
Check trip dates against your booking
Check the saved span and keep booking links beside it. The trip-duration tool reports dates and nights separately. Daymark does not confirm hotel occupancy rules or transport timing, so use the provider's current booking for those details.
When the departure changes but the return does not
Edit the existing trip rather than creating another mark. Check both Begins and Ends after the change. A return preceding the new beginning needs correction. Daymark's countdown follows the entered span, not an airline or hotel's live itinerary.
