Choose the layout and position the photo
Use a photo you want to keep with this occasion. The image's crop changes how it looks, not the saved target date.
- Open the countdown editor and find Design.
- Choose a photo using Apple's photo picker.
- Select a suitable layout and inspect its preview.
- Adjust Photo position to move the vertical crop.
- Check that the title and number do not cover the subject.
- Tap Save and inspect the app screen and any smaller widget.
Give the number a clear background
A busy image can make both the title and the days left harder to read. Try a different crop or layout before replacing the photo. Daymark includes nine photo and simple layouts, so a simple view remains an option when the image fights the text.
Check the photo at the widget's size
Check faces and important details at the widget's actual size. Do not infer missing data from a different crop. Private iCloud sync may take longer to transfer a large photo than its countdown title and date.
Photo position moves the crop vertically
The slider moves the crop from the top toward the bottom. It does not promise unrestricted pan, zoom or photo editing. Try another layout or image if the subject cannot fit. Keep the original photo separately when it matters to you.
