Use Design without a photo competing with the count
A simple layout suits a deadline or any occasion where a photo adds little. Have the target correct before changing the design.
- Open the countdown's editor and find Design.
- Open the layout choice and select a simple layout.
- Use a short Title that identifies the event without a picture.
- Review the chosen color and number in the preview.
- Tap Save and inspect the saved mark.
- Check its widget separately if you use one.
Simple can make the date clearer
A quiet layout helps when a photo adds no useful context or makes the count hard to read. It can also keep a private occasion less identifiable on a shared screen. Every layout is included within the two-free-active-countdown allowance.
Check the date before changing the layout
Changing a layout does not fix a time-zone or inclusive-counting difference. Compare the saved event date first. If you remove a photo, decide whether you need to keep a separate copy before making changes that sync across your devices.
When a simple layout is the clearer choice
Use one when a busy photo hides the count, when a title must stay neutral, or when the date needs no illustration. The display changes, not the event's date or zone. All nine layouts are included with the free allowance.
