Check automatic private iCloud sync
Sync is automatic when private iCloud storage is available. There is no Daymark account to create and no separate sync switch you must turn on inside the app.
- Confirm both devices use the intended Apple Account.
- Check that iCloud and a network connection are available on each device.
- Open Daymark Settings and inspect iCloud sync under iCloud & data.
- Read the recent sync status or failure message rather than only checking the account name.
- Open the same mark on each device and compare Title and Target date.
- Compare the photo afterward. Keep the original mark while investigating a mismatch.
Photos can arrive after the date
Large images may take longer than the title and date. Leave the existing countdown in place while checking. Repeatedly deleting and recreating it can make the state harder to diagnose and can propagate changes through the same private store.
If the devices still show different data
Record the device versions and visible sync status if the mismatch continues. Do not send your Apple password or private planning notes to support. Private sync connects your own devices; it is not evidence of collaboration with a different Apple Account.
If iCloud sync reports an error
If sync reports a failure, record the message and which device has the current countdown. Check the connection and iCloud availability on both devices. Large photos can arrive after the title and date.
