Check whether the mark was imported with linking

Confirm the organizer's current event in Calendar first. A linked import and a separate nonlinked mark do not have the same update behavior.

  1. Open the current Calendar event and verify the change.
  2. Open the corresponding Daymark mark without importing another copy.
  3. Check whether its import used Keep imported events linked.
  4. Compare the title, date, time, location and booking link.
  5. For a linked mark, reopen the app and inspect refreshed source details. For a nonlinked mark, edit the confirmed change yourself.
  6. Review reminders, any end date and previously shared cards afterward.

Import and live linking are not interchangeable

Keep imported events linked refreshes the mark's title, date, location and booking link from Calendar. A nonlinked import stays separate. Verify the saved target after a meaningful schedule change. Private planning tasks are not Calendar fields.

When a Calendar event is canceled

A canceled event should not remain a misleading future plan. Decide whether to archive or delete it, keeping an export if needed. Keep proof of cancellation in the provider's own system rather than relying on a personal countdown's state.

Linking has a defined scope

The import option refreshes the title, date, location and booking link from Calendar. It does not mean every private planning task becomes an editable calendar field. Confirm the saved countdown after significant changes. A canceled booking still needs a deliberate decision about the mark.
