Counts Gregorian calendar days since the event, excluding the event date. A future event is reported as days remaining instead.
Dates stay in this page. No account, uploads or server calculation.
How this calculation works
The tool counts calendar days from the event date to the reference date, excluding the event date. The same date gives zero. A future event shows days remaining. Use today's date for the time since the event now.
A worked example
September 1 to October 1, 2026 contains 30 day transitions, or four full weeks and two days. On September 1 itself the count is zero. If the event is October 2 and the reference is October 1, the result reports one day until the event.
Keep the event day as day zero
The tool counts transitions after the event. A future event stays a future event.
| Event and reference | Result |
|---|---|
| September 1 to September 1, 2026 | 0 days since the event. |
| September 1 to October 1, 2026 | 30 days since, containing 4 whole weeks. |
| October 2 to October 1, 2026 | 1 day until the event. |
