Separate local preparation from transfer to another device
Keep the original picture outside the app. A large photo can take longer to prepare or sync than a small title-and-date record.
- Open the mark on the device where you selected the image.
- Check whether its full app screen shows the photo.
- If another device lacks it, compare Title and Target date first.
- Inspect iCloud sync status and network availability on both devices.
- Check whether a smaller surface merely uses a different crop.
- Report the slow stage and device versions without sending the entire photo library.
Size and crop are separate questions
A high-resolution photo may take more time to prepare or transfer. A small widget can also use a different crop. If the app displays the image but the widget shows less of it, follow the layout checks rather than assuming a transfer failed.
If the photo remains slow to load
Allow time for first sync and avoid repeated destructive changes. Send support only the diagnostic facts needed for the problem. A private full-resolution image or complete export is not required merely to explain that a photo was delayed.
A smaller test should not overwrite the only copy
If you choose to compare another image, retain the original and use a deliberate separate mark only when the active allowance permits. Do not repeatedly replace or delete the affected record. Record whether the slowdown happens before Save, after Save, or on another device.
