How this calculation works
The tool returns the selected month's length in the Gregorian calendar. February uses the selected year's leap-year rule. The other months keep their usual lengths. Supported years run from 1000 through 9999.
A worked example
February 2028 has 29 days. February 2026 has 28. April has 30 and December has 31. February 2100 still has 28 because the Gregorian century rule requires divisibility by 400 for a century year to be leap.

This result is the total length of the selected month, not the number of dates left from today.
