Set the target as a calendar date or an exact date and time. Then choose Countdown detail in the editor. The display changes how you see the wait, not the target date.

A short example keeps the convention clear

Seventeen calendar days contain two whole weeks and three days. A Monday-to-Tuesday date-only span is one transition. A Monday evening to Tuesday morning duration can be less than 24 hours. Compare numbers only when both use the same convention.

Compare the same counting method

Use the same counting method when comparing numbers. Date-only countdowns count calendar days. A tool that includes both dates or measures elapsed hours can give a different result.
