Set the countdown date
Use the agreed submission date and time, including its time zone. An internal review should happen before the final deadline. Define whether the target means sending, approval or publication. Those moments can be different, and the countdown cannot decide which one the agreement requires.
Preparation checklist
Choose the tasks you need and add anything specific to your plans.
- Write a short definition of the deliverable and completion condition.
- Confirm the submission time and receiving channel.
- List unfinished tasks with a clear owner for each one.
- Allow time for review and corrections before submission.
- Check access to the account or system needed for delivery.
- Keep proof of submission in the official project record.
Check submission and acceptance
Review the remaining tasks as the date gets closer. A countdown reaching zero does not prove that work was submitted or accepted. Use Daymark as a personal preparation aid, and retain the system responsible for approval and delivery evidence.
Separate an internal review from final submission
If work is due Friday, a Thursday review can be a separate task or countdown. Set the final mark to the agreed submission moment. Enter its time zone. The weekday calculator removes weekends, not holidays or days when your team is unavailable.
A personal checklist does not assign work to a team
Use Add planning pack for your own remaining actions and useful links. Daymark does not provide shared task ownership, approvals or submission receipts. Keep those in the project's official system. Tick a submission task only after checking that system's confirmation.
Keep your deadline in view
Add the delivery date and turn the remaining work into checklist items. Set a reminder before the deadline.
