Set the countdown date
Check the date and time on the actual ticket. A matinee and evening performance can happen on the same day. Enter the booked performance, not the production's opening date. Keep venue arrival guidance separate from the performance start.
Preparation checklist
Choose the tasks you need and add anything specific to your plans.
- Check the venue, performance date, time and seat details.
- Save the ticket or collection instructions.
- Read the venue's current late-arrival policy.
- Leave enough time between dinner and the performance.
- Arrange the journey home after the expected finish.
- Tell companions the meeting point and time directly.
Check the performance before leaving
Review the venue's latest message before the evening. If the performance is moved or canceled, update your own countdown rather than relying on the old ticket image. Daymark stores your plan, but it does not monitor venue updates or ticket validity.
Name the booked performance clearly
Use a Title that distinguishes a matinee from an evening performance. Set Target date and Include a target time from the ticket. Add dinner and transport as planning entries, not as changes to curtain time. Save the venue link for current arrival guidance.
An early dinner and a later curtain
A 6.00 dinner and a 7.30 performance are two timed bookings. A countdown to 7.30 does not leave an automatic dinner buffer. Check the journey between them yourself. Keep a separate ticket copy where your provider supports offline use.
Count down to your theater evening
Add the performance time and keep the ticket and dinner booking with it. Check the venue's current arrival instructions before leaving.
